On September 13th, the Phoenix Art Museum hosts “The September Issue” screening and after party. Arrivals begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the film at 7:00 p.m. This is a night not to miss!! HURRY! Seating is limited and purchased at tickets.phxart.org. Tickets are $30 and event proceeds benefit Phoenix Art Museum’s Arizona Costume Institute and the fashion design program. What a great show on Friday night for AGA Couture’s “Coleccion de Textura” at the Wrigley Mansion. The hair by Luis Alberto Solis was AMAZING – defying gravity in some cases! As for the garments, I really loved the use of satin throughout the show. Satin is such a fickle fabric, but Alex’s construction of each piece using the material was beautiful. I really LOVED the satin pants – both in tan and black. I bet they’re my size too! Mmmmm…they may just end up in my closet soon!

Hurricane Bay in Scottsdale is hosting a “Fall Fashion Runway Event” with fashion from one of my favorite places to shop FOREVER 21!!

This event will mark the first time Forever 21 has presented a seasonal preview of their merchandise anywhere in Arizona. Guests will be outfitted with prizes and giveaways from the Arrowhead TownCenter’s monstrous Forever 21 store, where they can visit before the event to pick up their VIP credentials providing them with cabana or table seating and complimentary champagne before the show.
