I have a lot to share with you about last week’s Scottsdale Fashion Week. I had a blast – dressing up, taking pictures, mingling, meeting new people, seeing the shows, after parties…I had so much fun, I think I have a fashion hangover!
My feet are swollen and sore from heels, my hair feels like straw from my wild styles and tons of products, my nails are chipped – I’m a mess! So this week, I’ll be recovering in jeans and flats, soaking in the tub, deep conditioning treatments for my hair – the works! And, of course, sharing my highlights of Fashion Week with you over the next few days as I recover.

The new “Geoffrey Beene Trapeze” collection just opened at the Phoenix Art Museum. Join the museum and ACI this Wednesday, November 11th from 6-9 p.m. for the opening reception. Call to RSVP today 602-307-2011.
The exhibit runs from November 7th – March 7th, 2010. Here’s a little more about Geoffrey Beene from the art museum’s website…
Geoffrey Beene (1927-2004) was one of America’s most original fashion designers, a true design pioneer that elevated his craft to an art. In this spirit, the Fashion Design Department of Phoenix Art Museum presents Geoffrey Beene: Trapeze, a whimsical exhibition that goes beyond the study of dressmaking into the world of conceptual art. The exhibition is drawn from a superb private collection acquired in the 1980s and 1990s, when Mr. Beene was at a creative peak and much like Mr. Beene’s life in fashion, is witty and irreverent. It will allow visitors to experience his celebrated designs and philosophies in a striking and stimulating way.

Me and designer Kevan Hall
Last night I had the pleasure of meeting LA-based fashion designer Kevan Hall, who regularly dresses our favorite celebrities, at the Scottsdale Fashion Week VIP party. He was so nice!
