Very excited to be invited to this weekend’s “Bloom” Scholarship Fashion Show presented by the Mothers’ Guild of Xavier College Prep. The annual fundraiser to support the Xavier Scholarship Fund is anticipating 1,200 guests! I went last year, it was an amazing production!
Bloom will bring us a Spring fashion preview presented by Saks Fifth Avenue and will also include 200 Xavier / Brophy Seniors in the show. I’ll post pics next week!! xo

It’s freezin’ today!! But, too late in the season to invest in winter clothes. Time to get creative…
Wear a simple black or white fitted long sleeve t-shirt under your favorite tank dress. Or, try an Micro-Mesh Long Sleeve Mini Dress from American Apparel under your tank dress for a more sheer, modern look. A couple of quick ways to layer up and keep warm for the next few rainy, chilly days!

I just love the Oscars. If you didn’t see the gowns, you’ll be seeing them this week in mags, on E!, the internet, everywhere. So fun! I’m sure my favorite dresses right now, will be my least favorite by the end of the week. However, I’m pretty sure I won’t shake my disappointment in SJP’s Chanel dress. I can’t believe I just wrote that I am disappointed in my fashion idol! I do love the back detail and the soft yellow silk, but it’s just not working for me.

The biggest surprise of the night for me was Molly Ringwald. Surprised that she was was invited, but also pleasantly surprised in how fabulous she looks. I love the color of the dress on her and she just looks great.

Finally, how can you not win when you look so statuesque and beautiful? Just stunning…
