Central Avenue Consignment is a friendly resale shop downtown filled with designer and other treasures. A few minutes after meeting store owner, Nancy, my jaw dropped at the sight of a gorgeous collection of barely worn (more like tried on) YSL platforms, size 39, in a rainbow of colors for $450 each. A pair (or two) like these would be perfect this spring!!

These shoes are just what I love about shopping consignment and resale. You never know what kind of treasures you’ll find!! It’s both an eco-friendly and eco-nomically friendly shopping practice. Nancy gave me a quick tour of the store and short tutorial on how consigning in her store works…

Consignments Accepted Daily, 10 acceptable pieces minimum with no max, 60 day contract term, 40% commission, Plus Sizes Accepted, Items must be folded – No hanger or shoe boxes…call Nancy for more information.

Have you been to the new About Face Boutique in Scottsdale? Owner Devy Walker recently relocated, and…upgraded, her designer discount boutique to 10636 N. 71st Way, Scottsdale. Same great designer pieces at fantastic prices, but the ambiance of the new, larger boutique is that of a luxe shopping lounge.
