Kohler Academy’s “Around the World” Recap

Last night, Fashion Phoenix was honored to be a sponsor and attend the Kohler Academy’s 2nd Annual “Around the World” student hair show, to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The styles were edgy, modern and fun and all 3 runways were PACKED!! Not only did I enjoy the show, but I had a great time reconnecting with my old friends Burt and Jill Kohler, owners of the academy. I had no idea they opened this fabulous cosmetology and skin therapy school in Scottsdale 3 years ago!! In fact, I didn’t even know they were sitting straight across from me until I heard the emcee mention their names!! So fun seeing such great people.

My congratulations to the students who worked together as teams to style their student peers and special guest models – nurses from Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The stylists presented hair styles inspired from “Around the World” including Egypt, The Amazon, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Tribal Africa and Madrid. Jill and Burt couldn’t be more proud of their students and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the students, the academy and their creativity. Can’t wait until next year’s event.
