Celebrities have recently tried a new trend which I lovingly call “Napkin Fashion”. Dresses worn by Jennifer Hudson at The Grammy’s and Jessica Biel at The Oscar’s remind me of strategically placed dinner napkins. I guess a natural progression in wearing table linens as fashion would be “Table Cloth Clothes” seen here from Talbot’s at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

On one hand it reminds me of cheerful family gatherings around Grandma’s table. On the other, IT LOOKS LIKE A TABLE CLOTH!  Is this just another sign of the times?? Is this a “green” trend – recycling old table linens into wearable garments.  Are companies scaling back on actual clothing designers and exotic fabrics to save money in these hard times??
